“My heart I offer to you, Lord, promptly and sincerely.” – Calvin
Like rising flood water seeping into a home, cultural influences have crept into the Church and, to a greater degree, with every generation. One might conclude that the foundation has eroded, but as Christians, we know the Church’s foundation is secure! Therefore, it is critical to ask questions, to probe and prod, and perhaps be uncomfortable.
Join us April 25-27 in Bryn Mawr, PA, for the 2025 Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology, Reformation: Church, Family, and Everyday Life. The primary aim of this year’s theme is to encourage Christians to consider the worldview that the Reformation offers believers, encapsulated in the phrase Soli Deo Gloria. How can the Reformers guide us in speaking into our church, our family, and our everyday lives to ensure they remain consistently aligned with Christ and His Kingdom? From worship, to politics, and cultural influences—what perspective should we have as citizens of Heaven serving King Jesus while living in this time and place?
The Reformers thought through essential questions like these and had biblical answers. Taking its stand upon the authority of the Scripture, we will seek to recapture the Reformation’s desire to give a biblical world and life view, developing our love for the Word of God that penetrates and transforms our church, homes, and lives.
We are delighted to have Ian Hamilton, Ryan McGraw, Jeffrey Stivason, and Derek Thomas as our speakers. What an exciting opportunity to learn from these gifted communicators.
