Scripture overflows with names and titles for the Second Person of the Trinity—each one a window into His majesty, mercy, and mission. From Isaiah’s ancient prophecy—”Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” —to the triumphant declarations of Messiah, Lamb of God, Son of Man, Word made flesh, Good Shepherd, King of kings, and Lord of lords. Each name or title says something of great importance about who Jesus is and what He came to do on our behalf and for the glory of God the Father.
Join us for the 18th Quakertown Conference on Reformed Theology as we turn our eyes to the glory of Christ through the names revealed in God’s Word. Speakers Richard Phillips, Philip Ryken, and Rob Ventura will draw our attention to the Son of God by examining several texts that shine the light on Christ’s sinless person and work. Set aside November 14-15, 2025, at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Quakertown, PA, for a weekend of sitting under the teaching of God’s inerrant, inspired, infallible, authoritative, and life-giving Word.

Speakers
Richard Phillips
Richard Phillips is the senior minister of Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. He is the author of numerous books and frequently speaks at conferences on the Bible and Reformed theology. He is co-editor of the Reformed Expository Commentary series (P&R). Rick is an adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he serves on the board of trustees. He and his wife Sharon have five children and live in Greenville. Rick is an avid University of Michigan sports follower and enjoys reading historical fiction.
Philip Ryken
Philip Ryken is the president of Wheaton College and the Bible teacher of Every Last Word radio and internet broadcasts. Dr. Ryken earned a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and a doctorate in historical theology from the University of Oxford. He preached at Philadelphia’s Tenth Presbyterian Church from 1995 until his appointment at Wheaton in 2010. Dr. Ryken has published more than 50 books, including Beauty Is Your Destiny: How the Promise of Splendor Changes Everything, When Trouble Comes, and expository commentaries on Exodus, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Jeremiah, Luke, Galatians, and other books of the Bible. He serves as a board member for the Lausanne Movement, the National Association of Evangelicals, and The Gospel Coalition.
Rob Ventura
Rob Ventura is one of the pastors of Grace Community Baptist Church in North Providence, Rhode Island. He is a co-author of A Portrait of Paul and Spiritual Warfare and is the general editor of Going Beyond the Five Points, Lectures in Systematic Theology, and A New Exposition of The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689. He is also the author of Expository Outlines and Observations on Romans and Equipped to Evangelize. Rob has contributed articles to journals, periodicals, and The Reformation Heritage KJV Study Bible. He and his wife, Vanessa, and family live in Rhode Island.
